A spot or two may soon be open in my box of 20 and so I must decide which coin will fill it.

Here is the latest version of the box for those that want to look at that first:

And below are four options. Which would you pick to gain entry into the box and why?
Please also vote in the poll.

    (1) 1878 Whipple Dollar PCGS MS 63

    (2) 1902-B PCGS Unc Detail Great Britain Trade Dollar

    (3) 1989-S PCGS PR 68 DCAM Silver Eagle

#1 its different and unique together, had to look it up quite an interesting piece,if it wasn't for that I would've definitely picked the Balboa.

I think #1 would fit nicely, though #4 would too. 2 looks nice but the details grade might bother you at some point (okay, I'm projecting, it might bother me). And #3 doesn't do much for me. But the reality is you are collecting for yourself and whatever makes YOU smile at the end of the day. So which one makes you smile the most? Pick that one.

Definitely the British Trade Dollar. It is a unique, beautiful coin.

I'd go with the Panama Balboa simply because of it's beauty and it's also a coin we don't see that often.

Definitely #4. That’s a beautiful coin. But then, I have always liked the Balboa so I’m biased.

Yeah, and add a nice Luster I agree, even though I voted for the Whipple.

I am voting #1 simply because I had to look it up and now I find it to be quite desirable!

I voted #4 as I feel it fits nicely with your existing box coins. I actually would have voted for #2 but you don’t have any details coins in your box.

Option 4 has closed the gap on Option 1 at 8 to 6 ....I'm likely leaning with Option 1 myself and the rest go into the box of 21-40 :D

I can see why the Balboa is a close second.
It has a mighty fine strike.

details or not that BTD is something special an instant wow even from a non collector :D
and you think you got issues... I just "properly" sorted my type sets and morgans and other "loose" slabs... leaveing me with and empty 25 or 30 slot box (just a matter of moveing 3-4 coins from one to the other lol)
All these box of 20 sets... yeah I gotta do it lol...
I'm an idiot... I got a 20 box (full) just gotta move those over to one of the bigger boxes lol)

We all have some issues :p ....and to be honest, I don't just stick to a box of 20. I have a few sets on the side that are outside the scope of the box of 20 as well as one to two more boxes that could be alternate boxes of 20. :D I might do an alternate box of 20 thread and have a head to head competition between the two.
