    Also.. In a true Doubled Die Variety the Mint Mark would not be doubled because it is hand punched/added to the Obverse Die after the Die is created. When you see what your Cent has with the worthless doubling it's an obvious clue that it's not a true Doubled Die.

    With that degree of strike doubling, though, I'd say that it has some value for generating double-takes...

    The '68-S and '69-S are notorious for strike-doubled dates and mint marks.

    Lets not forget that RPM's can look like this also. Not exactly like this but enough so it requires a second look. Best to lean the difference.
