I really liked Photograde because the book covers a lot of subjects in just about the level of depth I like. I also greatly enjoyed the Standard Catalog of Hard Times Tokens by Russell Rulau.
Well....I can't just pick one I like any book written by James Wiles. PCGS Grading Guide Books by Bowers Breen Breen's book is alright---but it needs alot more photos...and alot of updating. Bowers is pretty good--and his books are packed full of knowledge...but sometimes I find him dull....the James Wiles books are what got me starting hunting varieties. His books, unlike Breen's, are packed full of detailed photos...and has die makers also writen out. But above all of the books, and I love to read, comes this Forum! It is like a LARGE book in one way...I can go to the search and find something about anything...and most of the time photos to go along! Speedy
