Many thanks to @ToughCOINS. He put the effort into finding the difficult dates for me. The holes still bug me. Thinking I may photograph the slabbed coins and stick the photos in the holes. Either that or use off date place holders. Don’t know yet… but the set is complete. Thanks Mike!
Congrats on completing the set! I think photos of the slabs are a good idea or take some common dates and place them reverse facing forward (if you can't see the date, there is a chance you can believe it is the right coin in the spot ).
Congratulations. Always feels great to complete a set. And I feel for you and your conundrum on how to mesh the slabs with the Dansco album. But I offer no solutions ... as I have not been able to solve the issue on some of my own sets.
Don't let the OCD conquer you, Randy. The set is complete.......photogs in the holes might help the empty hole syndrome though. Congrats on achieving an magnificent milestone.
Ehh, stick any old nickel in the holes, you won't know the difference while you are filling a new Dansco.
Nice set. My OCD is more tweeked by the crooked/misaligned coins than by the empty holes. Jeez man...get a level!!!
I know, right? This is the first Dansco I had that the coins fit very sloppily in. I have pulled those plastic slides out a hundred times to reposition those thrickles. Probably should have done it before I photographed the danged thing!
Fun set. I have seen folks print little round images with something like PCGS AU50 on them to put in the open holes.
