Help, my slab does not fit!!

My PCGS 2019-P Apollo 11 Silver Dollar holder will not fit my slab box. What do I do? This is affecting my OCD!

Well, one of the "tells" of the bad PCGS slabs is they are too thick to fit in the standard PCGS box...

 

Take a grinding tool, and grind down the slab.

 

Take a hotknife and remove ONE of the slot dividers on each side.

 

BTW, it's C D O - that way it's properly alphabetized.

 

Would a real PCGS box work?

 

OP was asked in another forum where he posted this to show images of the front and back of his slab...

 

The Apollo 11 coins are convex and significantly thicker, so that is the PCGS oversized slab. It doesn't fit anywhere!

 

Find another place fir that one and fill the box with slabs that will fit. That should satisfy your OCD.

 

I have some old NGC slabbed coins
you might try one of there boxes
since there a thicker slab

Ps. only if you pulled out a new box of unsearched coins...

 

I have the Apollo convex half dollar and it doesn't fit in a pcgs box, knockoff box, or other.
I keep it with my 5 oz. pucks.
