That's gotta be a bottom pop coin right there.

Collecting would be pretty boring if every coin was Gem UNC...

To bad it was cracked out, I may have offered the seller $100.00 for it.

Looks like it was placed on the bottom of a table leg and dragged around on a concrete floor.......it would be a fun find if it were caught in the wild but to pay that kind of money (let's see what the bidiots run it up to) for something so maliciously damaged is sinful.

I'm quite interested into how much it'll sell for,it's not everyday you see a road rage coin like this, for lowball collectors this is a dream opportunity!!.

I was rather thinking along the same lines. Why would you want to break a piece like that out of an authenticated holder? Whose to say now that it wasn’t a Beijing minted piece that wasn’t drug on the concrete?

I am curious what the final price will be. This is so sad.

Despite what it appears to be, it’s a definite pass.

    I've seen this one before.

The poster child for why deep pockets does not a good collector make.

That falls into the “stuff happens” category. It’s bad, but it wasn’t intentional.

Cleaned, however, something else. I’ve seen 1955 doubled die cents that were messed up by that.
