1877 Morgan 50C (pattern style)

Hi Coin Talk,
I was hoping that some could give me any specs IE (weight diameter thinkness).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is some information on the 1877 Morgan Pattern. There are 7 know to be extant.

That is not genuine.

 

Do you know the spec’s for this coin

 

It looks nothing like the real pattern.

Not the same coin. The coin in question purports to be Judd-1510, 5 known to exist. They have two threads going, the other one here https://www.cointalk.com/threads/help-needed.405347/

 

Someone should merge the two threads.

OP, you're saying this loose pattern coin has been passed down in your family since 1877?

 

I'm curious about the provenance claimed as well. It's possible their great great grandfather worked at the mint in 1877, but they'd have to be as old as I am.

 

The Judd pattern the OP posted is an obvious reproduction of the original very rare pattern coin.
