I don’t post here very much but I have CRH’d several million coins over the last decade or so. Yesterday was a very good day for me, primarily in dimes.

From $210 in CWR’s I found 10 silver Rosie’s and a BU 1943-D Merc. Might be the nicest dime I’ve ever found in circulation.

    Then from a $1,000 bag from a different source I found 58 silver Rosie’s, 2 Merc’s, a silver Swiss 1943 1/2 Franc (0.835 silver), a great double/triple clipped 1985-D dime, a 1944-D Wheatie whittled down to be a dime slug and finally a W. R. Hollick one horse grocery ‘good for’ token (token catalogue #354059 - http://tokencatalog.com/token_recor...=392732&attribution_id=362156&record_offset=0 )

Also have average scores with wheats, 25, and with war nickels, 3. I did find a ‘44-D war nickel that filled a hole as I build a 2nd complete set of circulation found Jefferson’s.

    Thanks for looking.

On the Rosie’s, the was a ‘48-D and ‘50-D that filled open slots in my circulation found Rosie set. Now I only need 4 to complete it - 1951-S, 1954, 1954-S & 1955-S.

    And yes, it’s weird that I can’t find a 1954-P.

The notch on the top of the Swiss coin is interesting.

I'm wondering if it is a homemade 'driver' for one of those tamper proof screws that have a center post. The silvery marks on the edge near the notch possibly shows it was used that way.

Really not sure. First thought was maybe it was cut off a charm bracelet or something but it would make more sense to cut the bracelet than to cut the coin so who knows.

What a nice haul. Worth the time and effort for you.
That 1943 D Mercury looks like it could qualify for FB too.

In hand I think it does. It’s a ridiculously nice coin to find in circulation.

Today I dumped most of the change and found a ‘66 Kennedy, a 1907 Philippines 20 Centavo (0.750 silver, .096 ASW) and 2 different 1914 Mexico 5 Centavos at two different branches??? That was really weird but a nice continuation of Mondays finds.
