Aren’t the glam shots supposed to look better then normal pics?

    From the close-up shots of the OP coin, I’d say that it is massively over graded. If all you have to use for an on-line auction is photos, “glamor shots” are totally unfair.

    If all an auction house is using area PCGS True View pictures, that brings and instant pass from me. In those cases, you really have no idea what the coin looks like in person.

    Glamor shots are not worth a plug nickel, and normal shots are usually marginal at best. Their goal is to sell, your goal must be to make as intelligent decision as you are able to with the facts in front of you.

    Yeah, those "glamor" shots sure don't do this coin any favors.

    I’ve never seen a coin with glam shots worse than the in hand picture
    That’s why I found it interesting
