1954-s 5C DDO ???

    Need anyone’s professional opinion on this. I was searching through an OBW roll of these date nickels and came across this coin. The lettering is much bigger and fat all around on the obverse (In God We Trust & Liberty 1954). Could it be a new discovery DDO?
    Note*~ The last two images are of a different regular nickel from the same roll to use for size comparison.

    Looks to be a deteriorating die issue, perimeter devices becoming mushy in appearance and spreading toward the rim.

    Die Deterioration strike. Evidence is also on the field.
    Not a Doubled Die variety.

    Using a solid background should help with photos. It’ll help the camera focus on the object. As noted, die deterioration. Good luck on the hunt!
