It looks like toning. Unfortunately pretty common on silver if the center of your flips are PVC and the conditions it is stored in are not dry enough.
Silver will tone. No getting around that. How it tones is as individual as the coin itself…. I don’t think you have a depression there. Likely more of an illusion created by the heavy toning that is confined to that small area.
Then the coin has been damaged or the planchet was defective and it’s so small it wouldn’t add any value. The toning is just a small spot and will grow as time marches on.
Drazzil, I have many of those canoe coins as I like the imaging. The toning is from the staples of you paper/cellophane holder. Here are some examples of the effect on US dollars. This often shows up with older iron staples rather than modern stainless steel. However you can figure that the coin has been there for years and not treated at all. @desertgem beat me to it. It's the staples, so get rid of them on all of your 2x2s and make sure to get SS staples, or the self sticking 2x2 holders.
