If anyone is curious, the quote is "Das Deutsche Volk muß ein Volk von Fliegern werden HERMANN GÖRING" - The German people must become a people of aviators

I have a couple of nice certified Nazi era silver coins, and also quite a few German coins from other eras. The Third Reich pieces hold a certain fascination for their historical connection, but quite honestly they aren’t that interesting from a design standpoint. For example I find the Weimar coinage much more interesting due to the variety and scarcity. Most of all I like the early modern Thalers.

To each his own though. Even if someone’s collection were focused on Nazi coins I don’t think that makes them a Nazi or a white supremacist. I really like Soviet material as my wife grew up there, but hate the idea of communism. She isn’t a communist either but the hammer and sickle doesn’t hold the same negative connotation for her as it does for Americans. She just sees it as a symbol of labor.
