    @JSermarini

    I am so sorry that my OP created such an unpleasant situation.

    Whenever at the German forum there is a credible doubt about a coin that is advertised by an US seller, I share the information.

    I have done this in the past for a CNG coin, being the last one the tetradrachm at the Forum Ancient Coins.

    As you can see in this thread, I asked whom to contact and @SEGESTIUS kindly gave me the contact information, which I promptly used to send an email.

    Please accept my sincere apologies

    No worries. I greatly appreciate you letting me know. I prefer private notification, but it is perfectly fine to discuss my mistakes here or anywhere.

    I really should have caught that coin. I did know the fake and have seen many others from the same dies. It is actually signed by the maker (the S on the rock under foot). Most of the time when a fake does get by me, just like this time, as soon as someone lets me know, I agree it is obvious. Then I just get annoyed with myself for missing it. I must have been tired or distracted.

    No need for you to apologize, as I said, I am glad you let me know.
