The ground up hologram ink is missing on the 100 in the lower right. So I guess the error would be insufficient inking?
I'm curious as to what the actual error is? I'm still new to paper money. The embossed (can't think of another term for it, lol) detail from the stamp is there but not the Flex Products ink. It went through the process making me think insufficient inking but considering there's no ink there that I can see would it be considered missing details instead?
Fun fact about the image of the dollar. The holo foil treasury stamp was a failed security feature they tested for that redesign of the $100 FRN. The holo foil was designed by Flex Products of California but it failed the crumple test so instead of scrapping the entire thing they ground it up and used it to make the ink used for the "100" missing on your note.
The error is the missing overprint of the color shifting ink on the 100 in the lower right corner. Mine A normal one
