    MS64! I think this is my first medieval in that grade. I did once have an MS63 Aethelred II Anglo-Saxon penny.

    Nice bracteate, LM.

    I notice the slight crack at 12.30. Did NGC note this? Due to the very thin concave shape, does NGC have a special holder for bracteates?

    I too wondered about the crack. NGC did not note it. If you click the link at the top of the first post you can see the holder. It is one of the newer “Air View” holders without prongs. I like those because I hate the NGC prongs.
