It was actually a gift that was already graded. My wife's cousin knew she was dying and gave it to me.

I’m sorry for the circumstances, but it is a lovely coin with great sentimental value.

Only recently started collecting ASE's. Here's my first.

Wow, you really do see a difference with the laser etching, don't you. o_O

edit: pared down the photos - no need to take up so much room.

Ya know, when they decided to use the beautiful Weinman Walking Liberty design, I was excited. It was bringing back, what was in my mind, an exceptional design of the past, but now, I think the ASE has ruined that for me. I seen it everywhere and when looking for Walker's in Auctions, I spend more time trying to find out if it is a ASE or Walking Liberty. Guess I'm just stuck in the past. Still a beautiful design, without a doubt.

Anything Silver in a slab scares me ! Milk spots can go for years with out showing there ugly heads, I see many people on the bay trying to sell coins in 70 holders with the milk spots for a substantially less price.

    Heavy cameo is right..!!

Very lovely look, cool older holder, and a great first-year coin.

By the way, youtube SHORTS can't be embedded, only complete YouTube videos can. Stupid, but I assume it is more of an issue with the forum-software than it is with youtube shorts.

Thank you! It’s also my birth year, so I had to have it. :)

Thank you also for explaining the YouTube shorts issue. I’m not sure what I did to make it a YouTube short vs regular video, but I’ll try to pay attention to that next time.
