    I can agree on both counts.

    To be fair, the collecting aesthetic was a bit different 300 years ago.

    Looks like worn adoptive period coins that're always being dug up in hoards around eastern Europe, this contraption probably made from such a hoard I guess. Now make one from high quality siliqua or republican coins or even aureus, then we are talking!

    Well, I have to say that the cap (tankard) will keep the bird droppings out of my brew whilst I sit quaffing my refreshment out in the beer garden. Don't do didley for my funky hat though, which I might add, keeps most of the foul discard off of me....
