    I finally received a Julius Caesar to fill in his spot on my list, although it is not the one I wanted but for the price it is a nice edition to my collection, later on I will keep a eye out for another the one I wanted>

    Coingratulations! That's an important hole to fill!

    Here was how I did it, back when I was doing the Twelve Caesars. Mine was sort of an ugly duckling, but it was a lifetime issue, had a mostly-readable name on the flan, and cost me less than 500 bucks at the time.

    Is your Caesar denarius encapsulated or did NGC keep the coin raw with an accompanying photo certificate?

    It was later encapsulated. Those are pre-slab photos.

    Congratulations! It's always great to be able to add a JC to the collection.

    My first, the very common but very desirable (and therefore, expensive) JC elephant denarius. I got this one a while ago, when it was somewhat affordable.
