    Hello Everyone.

I have an old 5-oz .999 Fine SilverTowne bar that I am looking to get more information on. The bar I have is show below with Serial #00742. Using a dial caliper, I get a measurement of approximately 2"x7/8" (50.8mm x 22.2mm). The following website explains that there are size differences between the three series of SilverTowne 5-oz bars studied:

I am looking for some assistance on understanding which series my bar corresponds to. Also, I am curious about any information on the approximate value of this piece.

As always, any information is greatly appreciated.

    Per the following website:

The website above provides more detail on the differences between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd series 5-oz SilverTowne bars.

Can anyone determine which series my bar corresponds too?

As always, any information is greatly appreciated.

    Thank You.

This is bullion. Trades as silver. Isn't there a bullion forum? I have a Silvertowne 1 oz bar. I bought it when silver was $32 oz. I lost money but I hang on to it.
