by the looks of the coin i'd say damage and yeah better pics would be nice

 

It’s not doubled if that’s what your thinking. To me, it’s a spender as it’s damaged.

 

Actually, they ain't half bad........click on the thumbnail......when that opens click on the arrow in the upper right corner which brings you to a new screen which is expandable.

 

Okay, but I'll take a quarter bad not half.

 

It is die deterioration damage that moved the lettering and other areas towards the outer rim. The nose could have been from this effect or damage, but is just worth the 5 cents IMO, Jim
