I have these coins here, a small part of my collection. Does anything have much value here, and if so, how much? I attached full size pictures, one showcases coins on face, the other picture shows them flipped on tails. Thank you, Dustin
Google the coin date/type together with NGC and you will be able to get a rough estimate. I don't see anything in those pictures that are worth much. Most of them are in the junk world coin bin at my LCS for 50 cents a piece. Maybe a dollar for the large Mexican peso that is 10% silver.
What furry said here. If everyone really "stroke it rich" off what they think is worth some $$$, they wouldn't be called "the 1 percent" now would it? But to add to it, he's right, digging through coins with perhaps a language you've never heard of can be alot of fun, or why was this coin made in this shape? Like the saying, half the fun is in getting there. Good luck!
that Cuba star coin might have some value. $3.00 that Ethiopia copper lion coin $1.00 that Ecuador copper-nickel coin $0.25-0.50 cents
the Buffalo nickel with the s mint mark on the reverse might be worth at a few dollars (or more)! what is the date on that coin?
According to NGC, a 1920 Cuba 5 centavo is $1 in FV. I'd be hard pressed to consider the coin shown as VF. The Ethiopian is a 1943 25 cents. Again, according to NGC, VF is $0.50. That is definitely not VF. A cool coin though. I love the design.
keep in mind I am using my Krause catalog. a coin is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. if you sell these Ebay you might get more ? these look like a bunch of very common coins.
