I don't know the first one but the second "coin" doesn't seem to be a coin. It just seems to be a token for good luck, prosperity, etc.
I'm in complete agreement with gxseries. For the second coin, the 1st picture needs to be rotated 90 degrees to the left, and the 2nd picture needs to be rotated approximately 180 degrees. Most likely a temple charm or other token, as China, Japan, Korea, and Amman (now Vietnam) generally use the different designs on the obverse and reverse of cash coins. My guess is the piece is either Chinese or Japanese. When I get a chance later today I'll do a little more research and post my findings - if any.
Jody,the first piece is a jeton (reckoning counter) from Spain.The second piece looks like a charm that is hung in the doorway of a Chinese house as part of the belief in Feng Shui. Aidan.
No. 2 is a charm, which reads either "Good Luck" or "Good Fortune" top to bottom, and the same right to left. I can't give you the Chinese reading, but in Japanese the top/bottom pair are "Ju Fuku", and the right/left pair arre "Hoo Ki".
