2001 vermomt state quarter errors?

    I found this quarter the Vermont state quarter 2001 in a roll. I noticed when I looked at the reeded edge that there is no copper or whatever metals are mixed together but the edge is showing all silver color like the coin is all one type of metal . has anyone ever seen one like this? 20160624_041843.jpg

    What is the mintmark? Can you give us photos of both sides?

    I thought "P" stood for Poughkeepsie.

    The only silver SQ's struck by the Mint came from San Francisco (S), so this was probably plated. Philly & Denver SQ's should weigh 5.67gms.

    Chris, the "P" in this case stands for "Plated" :p
