When you really want an 1889-CC but can't afford the thousands it takes to own one (you inherit it from your grandfather )

 

Nice but in lower conditions they're only a few hundred+. Gotta love inheriting nice coins. Sorry for your loss though unless it was a living inheritance

I like to think of an old saloon in say Bisbee, Arizona, with a bottle of whiskey on the table. Man I would love to have been there...

He passed a while ago but he was a good guy with a kind heart and great coins

 

These circulated coins definitely tell a more unique story. It's fun to imagine the journey of such a coin from mint to collection...

Snuck this little guy out of a type set album. The reverse of all of the coins was against cardboard, which led to the toning.

 

I would take that '89 CC for my collection in a heartbeat....no, quicker than that
