    That's a great coin Sallent. Toning and wear combine to give it superb eye-appeal.

    Thank you my friend. That's exactly why I chose it, eye appeal. I was about to buy another RR denarius, one of those shinny XF ones, but when I came across this one with that combination of toning and wear, it just called out to me more. I thought it had character.

    Thanks for the compliment regarding the coin, it means a lot coming from someone like you.

    Korea! It was my grandfather's, he drove landing craft during the war. He gave it to me when I was 16, he said I was the only one in the family to appreciate old stuff. How right he was!
    The mask is a Soviet GP-5 NBC gas mask issued in 1973. I'm not wearing the filter for obvious reasons.
