I've had this in my possession for a few years. I found it and thought it was unusual. I'm wondering if this was a minting error? It's perfect, no signs of being bent etc and the five pence that is doubled on is raised not indented thanks
It looks like a smaller coin with 'Elizabeth II' was squeezed in a vice onto this coin? Hence the letters are backwards...
And regardless of whether it's fake or not please could someone tell me how it's been done!! It's a mind bend for me. I would suspect hammered on maybe except that the parts of five pence are raised. So then I would consider it's been stuck on except you can clearly seethe ten pence detail through and it's reversed!!!!
Looks like glue on top of the UK 10p. Seeing as the lettering is reversed I am 99.99% sure there was another coin glued to your coin.
