I'm saying cleaned on this one, too. Please verify as I continue to learn about EACs:

1) yes, cleaned and coated, possibly with olive oil, to retone it;
2) yes, and I would never buy anything pictured thru a 2X2 holder, it hides too many evils.

 

First one definitely cleaned. Second hard to tell. The reverse looks like it has something going on. Not totally unappealing tho

 

Yes cleaned. I'm thinking olive oil as well.

 

For the price of the first one I'd want it slabbed.
That would solve the "cleaned" question.

 

First one cleaned. Second one is one I deem lousy unclear pictures so I do not even try to figure out if it has issues.
