1982 D Copper Small Date

Correct. the all Copper Planchet weighs 3.11 grams.
I believe only 3 examples have ever been found over the decades.
there have been dozens upon dozens of threads here on CoinTalk of people thinking they found another example but have always been wrong.
You will drive yourself crazy trying to find one.. In my opinion it will never happen again.

 

@Chris lefave Here's an excellent way to tell a large from a small date. On a large date the 2 is straight. On a small date the 2 has a curve.
