Trivia: if I have the story straight, the first European settlers of Bermuda were shipwrecked there in the early 1600s. They found feral hogs on the island and were able to survive by hunting them. Bermuda (then called the Sommer Islands) struck very early coins in that period, and they are worth lots of money today. Your 1988 cent with a hog on it is a throwback to that history.
