hi everyone! i have just purchased a 1904 Liberty Double eagle via a private sale and have just had it tested by xrf, here are the results Au 89.4 Cu 10.1 Ag 0.3 Weight is 33.41 g Diameter 34.3 mm Do these results look ok? is the small amount of silver normal? I know they are supposed to be 90% gold 10% copper but cant find anywhere which suggests any SILVER ? Aldo does it look like a original GENUINE 1904 US Coin, and not one of those real gold copys/counterfeits ? Would love to get your opinions on this! u guys are the experts! knowledge on these US pre 33 coins here in australia isnt the best. much appreciated!

Appearance seems good not sure about the silver content though. as I don’t see that in the composition.
@lib9995 Composition is ok, as impurities are quite common. The Liberty is genuine and in nice condition. I don‘t see red flags at all. Should grade high MS62 or low MS63.
My 1904 is the first coin I bought, trying to find it in my photos if not will just take air out of the slab box and shoot some pics.
