    results!!

This is my best find ever! I usually don't find anything but one or two 1967's per box, but this time it's amazing!!

There are 26 coins that are silver:

    1934-S Walker!!!!!
    1958d Frank!!
    6 - 1964 Keds
    2 - 1965
    10 - 1967
    5 - 1968
    1- 1969

I am totally excited,..my first walker!

For some reason, $2000 in coins doesn't look as impressive as $2000 in bills

I've carried boxes of pennies and boxes of nickels. Trust me. $2000 in coins is impressive enough!

are 2002+ dates less common, more desirable?

With Kennedy halves they only made 2001P and 2002+ for collectors. The mint/fed did not release them for circulation -- i.e. business strikes. Thus, to find them in circulation means not having to buy one at over face value.

2001 also? is that ture? I have had entire boxes mostly 2001 before?

The 2001 Kennedy's were made in large quantities and intended to circulate. The 2001-P Kennedys were tough to get for awhile because the Mint withheld them from the public. The halves from 2002 to present have been meant for only collectors, not for circulation.

No, the 2001 half was produced for and released into circulation.

Trust me, if you are carrying around $2000 in halves, you look like an armored truck worker. It's a bunch of coins to lug around in bags.

By the way, congrats to the OP on the silver finds! :thumb:
