I personally would not trust it as gassed. Everything the seller has listed is over the hill priced. I pass but thanks for sharing.
Is this an example of gassed in the holder? Given that the toning, at least most of it, has reached the terminal stage, I think it very unlikely. And in my opinion, the toning looks completely natural in every way.
I wouldn't call it gassed in the holder, but it really doesn't matter in this case. The toning is borderline environmental damage, has very negative eye appeal, and should have a negative impact on the value of the coin.
