Found this quarter from a local store here in Florida is it error or damage new to the coin world and love finding cool coins
Hey Chris, welcome to CT. No need to do a poll. Also usually easier to post the photo directly. I think it is damage. Any marks on the other side?
Ty for info it just looked like something odd like a broken leg crazy how damage can make something look so normal in this field or a error still so exciting
Welcome to CT. Can I recommend that a good starting point for you is to read and learn about the minting process and how dies are made. There are limited ways that an error or variety can be produced. But, there are countless ways for a coin to be environmentally and physically damaged. The following link is to a site with some good information, read all the sections. https://www.error-ref.com/
I chose in your poll.. Honest Response None of us are here to mislead you and always do our best to be truthful in our answers

This is a great place to learn. We tell the truth and give honest opinions. The poster asking the question may not like our answer but it’s the truth from what the poster said and from the photos they provided. We look forward to helping you grow with coins.
