Possible ink smear One dollar bill

Hello all I received this bill in change some time ago and I was wondering if it was some sort of ink smear or damage. Any help is appreciated!

I'm assuming that this note has been obviously folded based on the crease in the middle. That might just be fading from the last 6 years??

 

It does appear to be an ink smear from coming in contact with something before the ink had a chance to dry, but it is minor and in my opinion, not worth more than face value.

I tend to agree with MM. Whatever it is, it’s extremely minor.

 

find those types of bills sometimes in change just the ink was still wet and rubbed against something and smeared nothing major

 

An ink smear from dirty rollers. It’s considered insignificant and minor.
