Today I'm calling "Washington Wednesday" ! Please post your coins (Washington Quarters or other Washington coins (medals or tokens). This is my best oldest one:
I only have two coins bearing Washington's portrait. One is an 1932-s that I bought in a lot for very little money. The other one is this 1791 Cent made in Birmingham, England. Two caskets of both this design and a similar one with a larger eagle were shipped to the US and distributed to member of Congress with the objective to promote the design and obtain the coining contract. General Washington is said to have objected as he did not want to see his portrait on official coinage of the United States.
I just got a '43 last month. Nothing special, but silver's always nice. I may or may not post it later, I always seem to forget and not uphold that statement. I also have the same commemorative posted by @paddyman98 in silver and clad, in original mint packaging. They were a gift, and I think they're pretty cool.
