This coin is proving a bit difficult in searching for a ref to attribute it. This site https://www.tesorillo.com/aes/home.htm clearly shows the obverse legend style and reverse number 51 exist, for Siscia mint. However, there is nothing I can find on OCRE, AC SEARCH or WILDWINDS. Anywhere else I can try to find an example?
Coins of Licinius with short obverse legend, like this appear to be unlisted in RIC volume 7 for this reverse. The notinRIC website lists one for the series without dots in the mintmark, as after number 11. It’s not clear to me whether there are dots before and after the mintmark on your coin. If there are then the coin would be after 17
Thank you very much for the info. I have bookmarked the site and will study tomorrow. In hand there appears to be dots before and after SIS.
There are no dots either side of the mintmark, just rough surface texture. So, I am happy to record this, courtesy of notinRIC, as follows RIC VII, SISCIA [after 11], LICINIUS I, UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND OBVERSE IMP[L]ICINIVAVG OR [IMP LICINIVS AVG]; head r., laur. REVERSE IOVICON-SERVATORI [IOVI CONSERVATORI]; Jupiter stg. l., chlamys across l. shoulder, leaning on sceptre, Victory on globe in r. hand; eagle with wreath to l. B in right field. SIS in exergue. NOT IN RIC UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND. Not attested for this issue. RIC lists only longer obv. legends: IMP LIC LICINIVS P F AVG and IMP LICINIVS P F AVG (p. 422). Coin should be listed after SISCIA 11 20.3mm, 2.53gr
