image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Now guys I know that the past couple coins I’ve posted weren’t errors and were pmd, but this one is a different story! I’m just kinda wondering what you guys think the value on something like this would be? Not looking to sell just curious how I did.

Thats a lamination crack, these have to do with the planchet and not the die.

Okay thanks so much! I almost put lamination but I wasn’t sure! Should have went with my gut!

IMO it appears more as a lamination. There are no pre cuds on cuds-on-coins site for this date.
EDIT: P and G just beat me to it.

So do lamination cracks hold a premium?

    Yep. Major lamination. Neat.

Maybe. If a collector of such an issue desires it they might pay a small premium.

That lamination crack may have been the one coin that made me buy the whole lot. I like how the lamination stops at the forehead and skips to LI.
It definitely has a neat factor.
