Sometimes we overload our workload when it comes to selling on eBay. You try to list everything you possibly can but time is the biggest factor. I just started myself and can already see how problematic it can be. ( I listed a 1993 Lincoln Memorial with what I believe is a large die-break from his beard and suit collar and deposited themselves lower and to the right. On the reverse, a large die break between the last and second to last pillars. It is purple/blue and green toned.
This is one of the few sellers I track their items on ebay. I have bought several times from them without issue. I do know I have seen several coins listed before by them that I thought were questionable. I do not hold that against sellers since they have the coins in hand and it might even be tpg(ngc, pcgs, anacs) acceptable. I try my best to stay away from coins that I think might be questionable. I even skip graded copper coins if the pictures are not clear - or you can see the big green monster on them. I like this seller and their pictures. Even on raw coins I can see what I need to see. Heck - I only read the text on the auction after I look at the coins. I think this seller does a pretty good job of letting you know which coins are questionable - but I still make my final determination. For this coin the spot really worries me the most. So I would avoid it for that.
