No. A conservative grade on that coin would be a 64 in my opinion. Too much chatter on the obverse. I don’t think this thing has a chance at upgrading.

Well, looks like I'm royally out voted. No problem. I still don't see how anyone could grade this less than a really nice 65. Clean cheek, and
one must consider how PL fields show the lightest contact. Still, just MHO

I'm really surprised it even got PL with the marks it has. I'd like to see how it would fair with JA. I bet it would not get a bean

 

I am not sure what you mean? PL is only a designation for reflective fields and frosty devices. I have a few 62 and 63's that are baggy, they have many more marks than this coin. Also the reflective fields show every minute defect.

By the way I think that the coin is good for the grade. I don't see enough in the photos to say it would grade higher.

 

Sometimes to many marks will disqualify it from PL

 

Sold for $800, seems like the bidders didn't think so either.
