Metal Detecting - Fooled on April Fool's Day & SC Trip (May 2023)

Hello everyone,
Yesterday after the morning rain I did a 5 hour Metal Detecting hunt at Brooklyn's Prospect Park.
I hit all the spots where I've done good in the past and a couple of new areas..
But no silver

I got Fooled on April Fool's day!

I ended up with a total of $6.93 in clad and cents.

Well in exactly one month from now my wife and I will be heading back to Roch Hill, South Carolina for my 2nd time at the 3rd annual Nugget Noggin metal detecting event!

Does that mean you missed some the first time around, or did your finds come from those other areas?
Just curious how you "grid" your search and remember where you've searched previously.

I hope you do even better on this years event, as you did pretty darned good last year.

 

I started not to like this post with the subject, but I thought about the two key words that go together here: surgery and recovery. And, you will recover just fine.

 

Thanks, it will take time. But it will take me more time to get from point A to point B for awhile.
