2015 P Quarter. What happened to this, error or ?

    Sorry about the poor pics.     Those are metal flow lines, a sign of die deterioration.

    It is an excellent example of a die stage. As the die wears, the metal is pushed to fill the die and it leaves these "stress lines" or metal flow as it is called. I would definitely keep it as an example, and who knows, in the future, someone might pay a premium to collect just worn die examples.
