I'm working from the home office today and the pics I have of the old girl are on a memory stick at work. I'll have to dig into that next week. The car itself is in storage at my folks' place, she gets to hibernate while we have the white stuff up here!
I'm late for this party, as usual. I was going to suggest old school for old car. A stick with some ABC gum on the end. LOL Glad you got it out without any damage.
From one old car guy to another... Full throttle reverse until tach redlines stand on brakes nickel should now be in the back seat. (j/k, I think tape-on-a-stick is your best bet)
Reverse DONUTS and hard on the binders till you release the nickel or break more than a nickles worth of parts... Bonus points if the front wheels come off the ground.
He could always enter the county fair's demolition derby and pick up the nickle after winning best look derby car.
Well, I’ll tell you the truth…… I was motivating home to implement the stick and tape solution and had one of the most surreal experiences I ever had….. Was driving and saw a black cloud hovering above the road. Before I could react, I had driven into a swarm of bees. No joke. The old car was absolutely covered in bee guts so last evening was spent washing and waxing… Again…. Today we are gearing up for a ten year old birthday bash so it will likely be after church tomorrow before I can get back on track with freeing the Buffalo from captivity.
I ran into a big swarm of bumble bees out in the middle of one of those western states many years ago. It is nasty. Oh and Randy, Gumby might be of help in getting that coin. He really like Buffalo Nickels I hear. Lol
