This coin and holder is at the peak of its value according 2023 Red Book. I would be cautious in your decision to purchase. Good luck.
The most recent sale on Heritage of plain MS65, in a PCGS holder, was $576, and there are several others above $500, so the price seems right. I don't see that one getting 66, but of course I see some in 66 that look worse.
Unfortunately I think that it would be a downgrade candidate. I don't like the darkness on the cheek, which may be wear, and there are some hits here and there that don't say MS-65 or better to me. It looks like an MS-64 to me.
I see it a nice coin in an old soapbox slab. But would not expect it to upgrade. The toning is a bit dark and don't think that it could be dipped and not show the damage already done.
