    Hello all,
So I got my microscope in the mail today and I'm going to start submitting some pictures to the forums to help me learn a few things. In this example, I am still having trouble learning the difference between machine doubling and dd the date appears to me to have the 198 very nicely doubled. Let me know if more information is needed or anything.

I don't see any hub doubling.

If you want to get better at it, practice looking carefully at coins, taking careful photos, and asking the right questions. In other words, doing exactly what you're doing now. :)
