Anyone knows the name of a "coin 2 x 2 staple clapper"?

Yeah Chris it is my money and my choice and the great thing about living in America is that I can choose to get WHAT I want; not what others think I should want or pay for. Don't get me wrong; I really do appreciate all the suggestions and advice; but in the end everyone makes their own choices regardless of what others think. I have used these "flat CLINCH" (LOL) staplers in the past and most don't last and the staples don't stay flat after awhile. Thus the reason for my post. Thank you all for your input. Try to have a great weekend guys and gals.

FWIW, those pliers you want are used quite often to grip canvas so that it can be stapled to "stretcher boards" for artists. They aren't necessarily custom-made.

    Have a good weekend!

Wow...humanity's first ever "clinch" vs. "cinch" argument and I was a witness to it!

This is my lucky day - I feel so speshul!

    My problem was slightly different.

I started using a regular stapler and a pair of pliers.
But a significant part of the time (~25%) the staple would be crushed rather than cleanly piercing the 2x2.
Of course at that point I had to carefully remove the damaged staple and re-staple.

So I bought a heavy duty stapler, one that was rated for up to 20-30 pages.
But then a new problem arose; pliers required so much pressure to crimp the heavy duty staples that my hand gave out rather quickly.
The Solution: A longer handled tool so that I had more leverage. Channel Locks.
Everything works well now, particularly since I don't use 2x2's much anymore.

Flat clinch and it allows you to staple very close to the hole in the 2 x 2 hopefully providing an air tight container for your coin. I will be coming out very soon with a machine printable label for 2 x 2's that will benefit from clinched staples (the 2 x 2 will look neater). The label could be used on both sides of the 2 x 2 if necessary.
I have been lurking on Coin Talk for several months and have enjoyed every minute. Thanks for all of the information.

There we go! I FINALLY get it! Anyone with a different answer than the one "I like", is an idiot. Bosses are stupid, Wikipedia is run by idiots, and "I'm" the only person in the world with a brain. Got it! Jack
