$5.00 ink issues

    1466212856552.jpg 1466212895418.jpg 1466212895418.jpg I am new to this, and I accident posted to a different, old thread. Yikes. I'm going to try again. Forgive any clumsiness. I just wanted some thoughts about this $5 I found.

    Seems to me they should have let the ink dry before stacking the sheets.

    Same serials, it is bled through.
    If it was from the note underneath, it would be called a transfer error. I believe this is sometimes called an over inking error. Hopefully someone more experienced with error notes will chime in soon.

    Thank you. The numbers are the same on the back, only backwards. The numbers on the front are raised, you can feel them. Even on the back you can feel them. Hope it's not counterfeit! !

    The bill was over inked. That causes what you are seeing. Slightly raised and smeared on the front and bleed-through on the reverse. Nice to have but it's quite common and no real added value. :)
