So blurry. I can't believe people are bididng on this thing. Genuine, raw smooth-edged dollars are going for about $120 a piece, so why would you sell a roll that you 'knew' had 5-7 of them in there? Ridiculous.

"In doing so, I discovered that AT LEAST the first 5 to 7 coins are smooth-edged! I didn't open the roll any further so I have no idea how may others in the roll are smooth, but there is a good chance there may be more. I didn't want to open the roll completely to find out. I CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY COINS PAST THE FIRST 5 TO 7 ARE SMOOTH!!!! I immediately taped up the roll so the coins would remain inside and the roll would not tear any further."

    What a joke.

Thats interesting if you look at bidder #9s pattern within the last 2 minutes of the auction almost as if he was running up the bid intentionally.

He is why a lot of bidders wait until the last seconds to bid on items they really want.

    Hehe

I bet he got all the coins pushed out from his little rip and saw 5 of them were as mentioned. Then he put the first 5 on the front part, said "the first 5-7 (pffft 7.. riiight. I KNOW it's 5) were smooth-edged". Then taped the end back on with all the worthless ones in back and the nice ones in front. LOL!!! Then we have the "I CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY COINS PAST THE FIRST 5 TO 7 ARE SMOOTH!!!!" Possibly the funniest part of all! Who wants to bet against finding no others in the rest of the roll?

I'd pretty much bet against finding ANY smooth ones in that roll.

He would have made much more money selling those five individually, if he had them. And the whole story about the roll "accidentally being dropped"? Yeah right.

This smelled like five week old halibut.

What if there were 6 and not 5-7? Come on you can't even count the things?

Here's my version of the auction. Should make a TON!

So I had this unopened roll of Lincoln Cents and I dropped it, yeah that's it, I dropped it. Well, one fell out and the next was a 2-1/2 Dollar Indian Head GOLD coin. Yeah, that's what it was.

From what I could see the next 6-11 were gold as well so naturally I taped it up. Yeah, that's the ticket. I taped it!

I can see the coin at the other end which is a Lincoln so there may be 48 GOLD coins in there. Yeah, happens to me all the time - that's why I just tape them up.

So then the doorbell rang and I answered. It was Osama Bin Laden and a bunch of Al Qaida guys - yeah that's it! Luckily I'm a 20th degree blackbelt in karate (the only person to ever reach that level by the way) and I fought them off with a 2x2 and a can of Cheese Whiz. Yeah, that's the ticket!

Well, I captured them all and World Peace should break out any day now. I feel so blessed that I'm going to sell this roll with a starting bid of 99 cents and free shipping! Yeah, that's it.

Proceeds wll go to stop Global Warming which should only take a few weeks as I've invented this really neat machine. But that's another story.
    Yeah, that's the ticket!
