    Cool coin @Magnus Maximus !!!

I'm bidding on a tremisses of Theodosius...Does that count???:)

BTW: It's a bit of a 'glorious mess' so the interest may be a bit limited, except for those few whackos like me;)

Methinks that cash would be better spent on a non late Roman :D Perhaps a Roman Republic coin? Can never have too much competition for those :p

I got a few I'm unloading within the next hour. They're a little rougher than the coins you are used to but if you've got an urge for LRBs... :p

I'm not a big fan. I much prefer the artistry of earlier coinage. Sorry.

Affordability is a big factor for me, much better grades for less money.

    Lots of people.....
Very high grade late roman bronze coins can be expensive. ..... which can put people off because they consider them too common to spend big bucks, even when they are as struck in some cases. I've sold the highest grade urbs roma coins for close to $150 , because the buyers wanted the very best of type. I've paid $230 for the nicest galerius follis I've ever seen, but that's just because I wanted the best.
I know some don't like the artistry, but I find it more lifelike than the earlier pieces. Again all personal preferences, which is what makes the hobby so great imo.

    Well said @YOC

Count me as one of those who does not pursue or collect LRBs. I think some of them are very interesting historically, but i'm far more interested in the 150 years after Julius Caesar. I also do not collect bronze coins. I do have a few but do not intend to get any more. For me it is a matter of personal preference, I really like the look of the denarii from the Imperatorial and early Imperial periods. Like the LRBs they also have a story to tell.
