    I have a few Roman Imperial Egyptian Tets... As you know, I am in no way an expert as I do not focus on Imperial period. Comments are welcome...

    Currently my only potin popper — actually, a cracked coin — now residing on eBay in a group lot. It's a Diocletian, yr. 6 I think. Definitely no silvering, more's the pity.

    ...a peck of pickled potins;
    A peck of pickled potins Peter Piper picked;
    If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled potins,
    Where's the peck of pickled potins Peter Piper picked?

    In his bank box.

    Wish I had a local shop that sold ancients. Only chance I get to see ancient coins in person before I buy is at my local coins show, and its almost always just this one guy (maybe two if I'm lucky) who sells them rather expensively.

    Bummer on the lack of locals for you. Mine pretty much ONLY sell at Coin Shows and online, but we keep in touch and they have a good idea what I chase. However, my local dealer has been having some fun Ancients that I have been buying too.
