1916, my fav year!

 

I think I see an arc from the tip of the arc to the D. Could these be from the same die? And what's a Winged D? I had not heard of that before.

1916 is a GREAT year for Lincolns, probably the best year in the entire series. 15, 17, and 18 are close though. So many toners and woodies to collect, and at a very low price point as well.

 

@rlm's cents and @BadThad - You guys are great; thanks for sharing the awesome 1916 and '17 pics. Those shown above are some of the most beautiful cents I can remember seeing.

 

And I like 1920, too. (These are the dealer's photos. I only wish I could take photos like these.)

@robec, I just cannot believe your 1920 graded only MS64. It looks better than the MS65 one on the PCGS CoinFacts page. (http://www.pcgscoinfacts.com/Coin/Detail/2522/64)

 

Both 64's on that page look better than the 65. The only thing I can think is they decided the bluer areas either side of ONE were abrasions which toned at a different rate or something.

You guys and your primo coins are out of my league. Here's the 1916 I found a couple of days ago. It's just barely weaker than the one I found last fall, which makes it my 'B'. I've only found two 1916s in my decades of collecting.
